Key Responsibilities
- Defined and executed annual Data Science & AI strategies and quarterly OKRs, aligning product, engineering, and commercial priorities to deliver occupation, skills, task, and technology intelligence capabilities across APIs, DaaS, and SaaS platforms.
- Built and led a high-performing team of 18+ Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Ontologists, and platform specialists, achieving one of the highest Gallup engagement scores across Pearson (4.5+/5.0) while successfully navigating a major organisational transformation.
- Led development and governance of workforce ontologies covering 1,400+ occupations, 8,000+ skills, and 20,000+ tasks, forming the foundation of workforce intelligence products and APIs used by enterprise and government clients globally.
- Led development of large-scale AI and analytics systems built on 100M+ job advertisements annually and 600M+ historical job records, enabling workforce planning, skills intelligence, and labour-market analytics across AU, CA, UK, and US.
- Established organisation-wide standards for model verification, validation, evaluation, monitoring, and deployment across machine learning, predictive analytics, and generative AI initiatives.
